At eBookingNepal, we strive to make the booking process as flexible as possible. Our platform acts as an intermediary, which means the cancellation policy for your booking is primarily determined by the property partner (hotel, homestay, etc.) you booked with. We are here to facilitate this process and provide support.

1. Our General Policy

Each property on eBookingNepal sets its own cancellation rules. You can find the specific policy for your chosen accommodation:

  • On the property details page before you make a booking.
  • In your booking confirmation email after you have completed the reservation.

Common policy types include:

  • Fully Refundable: You can cancel before a specific deadline (e.g., 24 hours before check-in) and receive a full refund.
  • Partially Refundable: You may receive a partial refund (e.g., 50%) if you cancel within a specified timeframe.
  • Non-Refundable: No refund will be issued if you cancel this type of booking at any time. These bookings often come at a lower price.

2. How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel your booking, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your eBookingNepal account.
  • Navigate to the "Manage Your Trip" or "My Bookings" section.
  • Select the booking you wish to cancel and click the "Cancel Booking" option.
  • Review the cancellation policy and any applicable fees before confirming.

3. Refund Process

  • If your booking is eligible for a refund according to the partner's policy, we will process it automatically after cancellation.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the booking (e.g., eSewa, Khalti, credit card).
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times can vary depending on the financial institution.

4. Special Circumstances

  • Partner Cancellations: In the rare event that a property partner cancels your confirmed booking, we will notify you immediately and work to find you a suitable alternative or provide a full refund.
  • Extenuating Circumstances: For issues beyond your control, such as natural disasters or government-mandated travel restrictions, please contact our support team. We will handle these cases on an individual basis in coordination with our partners.
